A talk at the Old Operating Theatre Museum about medicine and surgery in Victorian times. The museum's own team explains the history of Old St Thomas' Hospital and describes the operations once carried out in this attic space of an 18th-century church, before anaesthesia and antiseptics. The talk takes place in the oldest surviving surgical theatre in Europe, where up to 150 medical students once gathered. Tickets include entry to the Museum.
