An evening talk at St Nicolas Church about Barbara Villiers, Lady Castlemaine and Duchess of Cleveland, a former resident of Walpole House on Chiswick Mall who is buried in the church's vaults. Jamie Paterno Ostmann, a researcher and PhD candidate working for Historic Royal Palaces, the National Trust and Durham University, will give the talk, and the church's death and burial registers recording her death will be available to view before and after. The event is supported by St Nicolas Church and organised by the Friends of St Nicholas Church, with refreshments available when doors open at 6.30pm.
