Talking in Tongues is Winsome Pinnock's acclaimed comedy-drama, staged for the first time since its 1991 premiere at the Royal Court. Set between London and Jamaica, it follows friends and lovers trying to understand each other, and themselves, across cultures, continents and everything left unsaid. Leela struggles to process her husband's infidelity after witnessing his affair at a New Year's Eve party during a trip to Jamaica. It is directed by Olivier Award-winner and Stratford East Associate Artistic Director Jade Lewis and stars Tamara Lawrance as Claudette and Kayla Meikle as Leela.
