A panel discussion marking the launch of the book 'The Big Picture as an Approach to the Study of International Relations: Thinking With and Beyond Barry Buzan', held in the Sheikh Zayed Theatre at the Cheng Kin Ku Building. It is hosted by the Department of International Relations and brings together leading scholars to honour Barry Buzan, one of Europe's most influential scholars of international relations, and reflect on his intellectual legacy. The discussion explores the role of large-scale theorising in contemporary international relations and the place of big-picture thinking within the field. The speakers are Barry Buzan, Rita Floyd, Laust Schouenborg and Ayşe Zarakol, with Professor Robert Falkner chairing.
