A screening of the film 'The Blood Countess', a spooky gothic romp following Countess Erzsébet Báthory, her loyal maid and her nephew Rudi Budi as they bend time and space in search of a mystical tome that threatens the vampire realm, pursued through Vienna and Bohemia by a police inspector and vampirologists. It was made by the legendary queer filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger, in her usual baroque, campy style mixing belly laughs, eroticism and outrageous fashion choices, and stars Isabelle Huppert as the infamous countess.
