The Café is a new piece of theatre set in a small café beneath London's ever-changing skies. Written by Roccia Zhang and directed by Siyao Wu, it follows four people living under different circumstances as they gather over coffee, uncertainty and the quiet pressure of London life. As money, visas and confidence begin to run out, they become one another's temporary shelter, sharing food, laughter and fear while searching for a place to belong. The play explores the human need for connection, asking what home can mean when it is no longer nearby, and who gets to feel safe in a city that is always moving.
