A free screening of the film The Father followed by a Q&A, held as part of the Being Human Festival. Film critic and philosopher Ben Tyrer and medical education advocate Shauna Murphy-Collins lead an interactive viewing and discussion on identity, memory and dementia, guided by the film's key ideas and free popcorn. The session explores how dementia might be experienced 'from the inside' and how philosophy, medicine and cinema each help us understand who we are. No prior experience is needed, and the film is rated 12 and over.
