The Health-Creating City Research Launch is an evening book launch and networking event presenting New London Architecture's latest research and accompanying exhibition. NLA examines how prevention and wellbeing can be put at the heart of London's development, looking back at a decade of policy and practice to explore achievements, remaining challenges and how the built environment sector can help reduce health inequalities. The exhibition showcases projects by NLA members, from healthy buildings and pedestrianised streets to neighbourhood initiatives and city-wide greening. The launch offers the chance to explore the findings, see the exhibition first and meet colleagues across design, planning, development and health, with presentations from NLA, Shazia Hussain, CEO of the London Legacy Development Corporation, and Magali Thomson, Sustainability Lead for Placemaking & Green Infrastructure at Great Ormond Street.
