An evening talk at a London bookshop in which the writer Georgi Gospodinov discusses his work with Lea Ypi. Gospodinov, who won the International Booker Prize for Time Shelter, presents The Man with Many Names, his new collection of short stories translated by Angela Rodel. The conversation explores memory, imagination and the elastic possibilities of fiction, through unsettling premises such as inventing an entire life with a stranger in an airport café. His stories move from the Balkans to the moon and beyond, finding the extraordinary in apparently ordinary lives.
