The Monkey is a theatre show about a man in a corporate waiting room whose job-interview anxiety takes the shape of an innocent-seeming monkey that terrorises the stage. It is made by Migraine Theatre Company and confronts the stigma of male fragility, exploring anxiety, societal expectations, depression and panic attacks through a comedic lens. The show contains loud music, live drums and strobe lights, and discusses sensitive topics including depictions of panic attacks. It runs at Pleasance London's Main House Cabaret and is suitable for ages 16 and over.
