The Smartest Giant In Town is a puppet-filled stage musical for young audiences, running 55 minutes with no interval. It is adapted from the bestselling picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler and staged in a new musical adaptation by Little Angel Theatre. It tells of George, the scruffiest giant in town, who buys himself smart clothes until he meets animals who need them even more, a heart-warming tale about friendship and helping those in need. Adapted and directed by Samantha Lane and Barb Jungr, with music by Jungr, set and costume design by Kate Bunce, puppets by Judith Hope and lighting by Sherry Coenen.
