This is an art exhibition titled 'The Sparkle, The Blossom and The Milky Land', showing moving image, textile and sculpture work. It is the first UK solo exhibition by Taiwanese artist DanFong Wang, who presents her 2024 animation of the same title alongside new embroidery and soft sculpture. Drawing on feminist theory and cultural rituals, the work explores female labor, the body and spiritual transformation, referencing Catholic and Buddhist funerary practices to examine gender and motherhood. Wang was selected by curator A—Z (Anne Duffau) as winner of the gallery's 41st Annual Open in 2025.
