A talk and conversation marking the worldwide launch of the book 'The Trembling City: The Sonic and Atmospheric Violence of Vibrational Warfare', held in the Majlis. Author Gascia Ouzounian joins artist and researcher Susan Schuppli in conversation. The book explores how sound and vibration act as instruments of violence in cities under occupation, siege, and war, from drone noise in Gaza to the skies above Beirut. It is part of 'The Trembling City: Sound and Spatial Justice', a series conceived by Ouzounian with Ibraaz.
