A major UK exhibition at the new Quentin Blake Centre of Illustration devoted to the Finnish author and artist Tove Jansson, creator of the Moomins. It brings together unseen drawings of the characters alongside over 100 rarely seen pieces of her work, including sketches, paintings, illustrations and photographs. Among them are original illustrations for the Swedish edition of Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland. The show spotlights the people who shaped Jansson's life and work, from her sculptor father to her friends in London and Finland's queer circles and her life partner Tuulikki Pietilä.
