An exhibition dedicated to the Finnish author-illustrator Tove Jansson, the UK's first to show her original works in almost a decade and the first to focus solely on her work as an illustrator. Curated with Paul Gravett among its co-curators, it explores the family, friends and lovers who shaped her life and art. Over 100 rarely shown sketches, paintings, illustrations and photographs are on display, alongside previously unseen drawings, original Moomin art and a public mural shown in the UK for the first time. It runs at the Quentin Blake Centre for Illustration.
