Transformative Futures is a free weekly collective for young people aged 15-25 to discuss, explore and create art together. It is run by Camden Art Centre, whose Learning Programme is supported by John Lyon's Charity and the Estate of Rosemary Phelps, and by The 29th May 1961 Charitable Trust and Dreamchasing. Each session is led by a practicing contemporary artist and offers the chance to try processes and techniques used by artists today, including drawing, video, sound art and assemblage, with photography walks around North London in collaboration with Ceci N'est Pas London. The programme fosters a supportive, inclusive and anti-racist environment and will culminate in a takeover event in July 2027, produced by participants.
