Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra gives an evening of orchestral music full of powerful visual resonances at Blackheath Halls' Great Hall. Jonathan Tilbrook conducts, with Chloe Miller as assistant conductor, leading the Trinity Laban Symphony Orchestra. The programme spans Tania León's Pasajes, Debussy's Nocturnes, a new work by a Trinity Laban student composer, and Vaughan Williams' Ninth Symphony, said to evoke Thomas Hardy's Wessex and ending with the foreboding bells of Tess of the D'Urbervilles.
