This session is Workshop 1 of 'Unlocked: On Curation', a four-part interactive workshop series for 18-25 year olds offering a behind-the-scenes introduction to the world of contemporary curation. It is led by Nikita Sena Quarshie, a London-based curator and writer whose practice is informed by her background in human rights. This hands-on workshop explores exhibition-making as a form of storytelling, looking at how exhibition design, layout and interpretation build a narrative around an artist's work. Participants will experiment with different ways of organising and modelling an exhibition, considering how curatorial choices shape how audiences experience an artist's work.
