A veterans' gardening workshop on planting bulbs, including making a 'Bulb Lasagna', a layered pot of bulbs suited to small spaces that flowers through the summer. It is part of Growing Connections, a monthly programme for Veterans at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, run in partnership with the Defence Garden Scheme and funded by the Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust. Lucy and Rachel from Defence Garden Scheme will teach the session, which also includes planting a biodiversity bulb mix chosen to bring spring joy to generations of Chelsea Pensioners. Places are very limited, and interested participants should register by email to be notified if successful.
