A violin masterclass in which RCM musicians work with Augustin Dumay. Dumay is described as one of the great violinists of his generation, drawing on a distinguished international career as both soloist and conductor. His breakthrough came in 1980 when Herbert von Karajan invited him to perform with the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra, and he has since appeared with many of the world's leading orchestras. He comes to the College to share his musicianship, knowledge and artistry with the next generation of violinists.
