A lecture titled "Visible Invisibles: Women in Roman Archaeology", an Ordinary Meeting of Fellows Lecture at the Society of Antiquaries, open to anyone and also live-streamed online. It is given by Dr Rebecca Jones FSA and Dr Tatiana Ivleva, who present their research with a network of scholars on women working in Roman-Britain and Roman provincial archaeology in the 19th and 20th centuries. The lecture looks at biographies of individual women and the reasons their work has not received greater recognition, showing how their contributions shaped the discipline today. It includes case studies of key scholars, emerging themes and trends, and highlights the importance of the Beyond Notability project.
