A free multimedia community presentation of the acclaimed War Inna Babylon project, tracing the struggle for truth, rights and justice from the landing of the Windrush in 1948 to today. It grew out of communities who refused to stay silent in the face of racism, police violence and injustice, and is a community-led effort to reclaim, preserve and teach Black British civil rights history. The event is organised by Tottenham Rights CIC, which is bringing the project back home to Tottenham. It considers how systemic racism manifests and impacts Black lives in the UK, through stories, archives and history of Black British resistance and community organising.
