Watch Party: Vol. 1 Cinema Realité is an evening of screenings with film-themed talks, set design, free popcorn and a raffle for a Criterion Collection DVD. The series is hosted by Debrain4k and celebrates cinema at the level of experience. It presents two short documentaries by Les Blank, Gap-Toothed Women (1980) and Werner Herzog Eats His Shoe (1980), described as 'cinema realité', a style combining improvisation, close observation and almost no voice-over. The screenings are followed by three short talks from guest speakers and a social.
