We Were There is a drop-in event on board HMS Belfast where visitors can meet veterans and eyewitnesses of conflict. It is run by IWM, whose volunteers share personal stories, recollections and powerful memories of experiencing conflict first-hand. From Bridge to Bakery, the veterans tell of life at sea on board HMS Belfast, offering insight into the impact of war on people's lives.
