A live edition of the BBC Radio 4 series 'WHAT'S FUNNY ABOUT...', marking 50 years of the RTS London with an evening about five decades of satire on British television. It is presented by Peter Fincham and Jon Plowman, who are joined by producers John Lloyd, behind shows like Spitting Image, Blackadder and QI, and Jimmy Mulville, co-founder of Hat Trick Productions, known for Have I Got News for You and Father Ted. With classic clips and behind-the-scenes stories, the panel asks whether satire has become harder to make and how comedy and politics have changed. Expect an evening of television history, comedy and conversation about what makes good satire.
