Where the Flowers Kneel is a play about sisters Beth and Catrin, who reunite in Bridgend, Wales, a year after their mother's death, as buried resentment, addiction and Catrin's recent overdose strain their bond. Written by Cardiff-born playwright Ela Mai Moss and directed by Harper Hefferon, the three-hander explores Welsh identity, the violence of sisterhood, and the line between loving, protecting and controlling someone. It was created by Theatr Bont, Bridgend's first pub theatre, founded in 2025 by London-based Welsh company Shed Theatre, and this is its London debut, keeping the original cast and team. The production runs for 80 minutes without an interval and is suitable for ages 15 and up.
