Wide Awake is an experimental theatre piece using movement and storytelling to explore how emotions impact the body and can dictate the course of our lives. It is created and performed by RADA graduates Helen Percival and Gen Labuschagne, and inspired by Bessel van der Kolk's book The Body Keeps the Score. Drawing on their personal explorations of how life experiences and societal expectations become lodged in the body, it invites audiences to embrace the full spectrum of their emotional capacity. The piece runs 50 minutes and is recommended for ages 16 and up.
