An official unveiling of a new artwork at hARTslane's window, part of its annual Window Project. The piece, 'Grow and Bloom', is by Usva Inei, a trans non-binary visual artist who reimagines traditional Slavic imagery through painting, textiles and printmaking. It responds to current anti-trans politics in the UK and the recent supreme court ruling, offering hope, representation and recognition to trans and queer communities. The work is a spray-painted flower bouquet in trans flag colours, with flowers carrying historical and cultural meaning for the LGBTQ+ community.
