Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution is a gripping courtroom drama performed in the immersive setting of London County Hall, whose octagonal chamber and galleries create a courtroom-like atmosphere. The story follows Leonard Vole, arrested for the murder of his wealthy older lover Emily French, whose wife Romaine testifies for the prosecution as part of a complex plan, with shocking twists right up to the final verdict. The tale began as a short story published in 1925 and reached book form in 1933. Jury seat members can take part in deciding Vole's fate, and the production is recommended for ages 10 and above.
