Zoolab – Zoo on a Broom is a Halloween storytelling session with real animals, aimed at family groups with children aged 3 to 7 years. It is delivered by ZooLab, whose Ranger tells a rhyming story adventure based on a well-known children's classic. The tale follows a friendly witch named Zog, who rides her broomstick through towns, forests and a bog and offers rides to animal hitchhikers, so her broom starts to resemble a zoo; the Ranger stops during the story to introduce children to the real versions of these animals, including live mini beasts. Each interactive session lasts 45 to 55 minutes and takes place in the Education Room in the Visitor Centre, with all children accompanied by an adult at all times.
