The project is a time-traveling conversation with the trobairitz, the women poet-composers of the troubadour tradition of 12th- and 13th-century Occitania, whose surviving texts range from witty and ironic to heartbreaking and erotic. The concerts feature Alkemie's commissions by eight women and non-binary composers moving between Medieval and contemporary practices, alongside \"A Chantar,\" the only surviving musical trobairitz piece from the time.", "url": "https://noky.io/en/new-york/events/a-worthy-mirror-alkemie-album-release-show-56987/", "official_url": "https://www.urbanebrooklyn.com/event-details-registration/a-worthy-mirror-alkemie-album-release-show", "image": "https://noky.io/images/026405d458d5c569cb3520c6a8e790ce28ae31b3ca7924ce24cb32a909877302-2000.webp", "dates": [{"start": "2026-11-05T19:00:00-05:00", "end": null, "place": "The Urbane Arts Club", "address": "Beverley Road 1016, 11218 Brooklyn", "tickets": ""}], "similar": []}
