A panel discussion marking the launch of Michelle Handelman's Capsule Collection at The Feminist Institute's Digital Archive. Handelman, a filmmaker, visual artist and writer, will be in conversation with Dr. Amber Musser, Jeanne Vaccaro, and Exx Nottage, moderated by Stamatina Gregory. The panel explores how feminist and queer archives can bring historically marginalized artists into the cultural record and intervene in dominant historical narratives. Through their activation, archives become a form of information activism, opening new possibilities for scholarship, public memory, and more equitable futures.
