After School Art Explorers: Free Drop-In Program is a Tuesday afternoon drop-in session where preschoolers and elementary school-aged children explore and create art. The Jewish Museum invites families to try a variety of art-making processes inspired by artworks on view, with a different theme each session. This week, children can sculpt a whimsical animal or figure inspired by playful ceramics in the exhibition Modernity and Opulence: Women of the Wiener Werkstätte. The free program takes place in the Floor 4 Studio while the Museum is closed to the public, and RSVP is recommended though walk-ups are welcome.
