This is a screening of the drama 'All the Long Nights'. Director Sho Miyake adapted the film from Maiko Seo's novel of the same name, starring Hokuto Matsumura and Mone Kamishiraishi as two co-workers who each suffer from invisibly debilitating conditions—his blindsiding panic attacks, her wild PMS-related mood swings—and form a tentative bond based on mutual respect and care. Often affecting but never given to unearned sentiment, it is a deeply humane film about the everyday hurdles of muddling through life, buoyed by the chemistry of its leads.
