A panel discussion titled "Are the Children Well? Education, Values & the Future of Black Children". Prompted by recent discussions about school choice in Brooklyn, it brings together educators, scholars, and community leaders to look beyond where children attend school and ask what kind of communities they need to flourish, considering belonging, identity, culture, emotional well-being, and academic preparation. Panelists include Tiffany Bostic, James Fernandez, Dr. Zinga Fraser, Allen Kinard, and Tesa Wilson.
