An evening conversation on the American furniture movement, held at the New York School of Interior Design. Curators Thomas Mellins and Donald Albrecht will interview Dennis Miller, author of the book Art + Furniture: An Oral History of the American Furniture Movement, published by Abbeville Press. The book grew out of an oral history project at the school's archives and tells the movement's story through its protagonists' words, with contemporary and archival photography. The evening includes a reception and ends with a book signing, with copies available for purchase.
