An artist talk bringing together artist Charles Atlas and writer Joe Westmoreland at the Leslie-Lohman Museum of Art. It marks the recent republication of Westmoreland's novel Tramps Like Us, an autofictional chronicle of America between gay liberation and the AIDS crisis, back in print after two decades with an introduction by Eileen Myles. The evening features a reading from the novel and a screening of Atlas' film and video work, followed by a conversation moderated by Lucy Sexton and a Q&A with the audience. Copies of Tramps Like Us will be available for purchase.
