The BHS Book Club meets to discuss "The Changeling" by Victor LaValle. Chosen with Halloween in mind, it is a dark fantasy horror novel blending mystery, folklore, and suspense, written by a Queens-born author whose novel takes place in many New York City neighborhoods. The club reads historical fiction and biographies, with meetings facilitated by Bayside Historical Society staff or members. Attendees can expect a lively discussion of the book, sharing of thoughts and theories, and plenty of good conversation.
