Bird and Nature Walk: Fresh Kills – North Park is a guided nature walk through Freshkills North Park, meeting in the parking lot at the end of Wild Ave. It is led by the Staten Island Museum, with naturalists Ed Johnson and Ray Matarazzo joined by Director of Natural Science Colleen Evans. The walk goes through the borough of parks, looking for lingering songbirds and raptors as well as newly arrived wintering waterfowl.
