Birds of War is a documentary that spans 13 years of revolution, war and exile, from besieged Aleppo to a London newsroom. It follows Lebanese journalist Janay Boulos and Syrian activist and cameraman Abd Alkader Habak as they relive their war reporting and unexpected love story through a vast personal trove of archives. The film is directed by Janay Boulos and Abd Alkader Habak, who also appear as its subjects.
