Brooklyn FAM's 6th Annual Flagship Festival is a free, family-friendly arts and music festival held rain or shine at the Prospect Park Boathouse. It is organized by Brooklyn FAM, a community-empowering 501(c)3 charitable arts nonprofit, in partnership with the Prospect Park Alliance, American Indian Community House, and NY Immigration Coalition. The event celebrates North, Central, and South American indigenous voices — including Nanticoke Lenni-Lenape, Shinnecock, Matinecock, Montaukett, Unkechaug, Diné (Navajo), Taíno, Colombian, Mexican, and Guatemalan (Maya) — with music and dance performances, workshops, a drumming circle, craft-making, and public art for all ages. This year's theme is "Shine Your Light," and food and drink are available for purchase.
