About

A live recording of the Criterion Channel's original series The Craft of Acting, featuring the French actress Léa Seydoux in an intimate on-stage conversation. Copresented by the Museum of the Moving Image and Criterion, it is moderated by Isaac Butler, author of The Method: How the Twentieth Century Learned to Act. Seydoux will discuss her career and her craft, reflecting on the actors and films that have inspired her; the series invites actors to share the stories behind their performances, exploring the training, technique, and subtle choices that go into creating memorable characters. The recording will later stream exclusively on the Criterion Channel.
