Dig & Create: Free Family Drop-In Program is a free drop-in program for families combining archaeology and art-making. The Jewish Museum invites children to excavate replicas in a simulated archaeological dig with trowels and brushes, sketching finds in an Archaeologist notebook, and to try art-making processes such as printmaking, collage, painting, and sculpture in the studio. This week, families design a bold felt banner inspired by fabric and clothing patterns in the exhibition Modernity and Opulence: Women of the Wiener Werkstätte. The program includes Museum admission, RSVP is recommended, and walk-ups are welcome.
