A screening of the 1990 film 'Edward Scissorhands', a modern-day fable set in Tampa Bay. Director Tim Burton made it after his Batman success, telling of a blade-fingered mechanical man (Johnny Depp) adopted into a suburban family whose daughter (Winona Ryder) becomes the object of his gradually-requited affections. Innocent Edward inadvertently brings trouble to the neighborhood and, finally, the gift of snow on Christmas, in a film featuring Vincent Price's final performance.
