Hebrew Classes for Adults are two evening courses for grown-up learners of Hebrew. Brooklyn Heights Synagogue offers Beginning Hebrew, for those starting from scratch or refreshing, and Continuing Hebrew, for those who can already pronounce Hebrew and want faster, more accurate reading. Teacher Leslie Schwartz leads both, with the goal of decoding any Hebrew word and beginning to understand meaning. Classes meet on Zoom through November, with the option to move in person afterward.
