A behind-the-scenes tour of Snug Harbor Heritage Farm, a sustainable urban production farm that grows produce for neighbors and turns food waste into community compost. The visit is presented by Snug Harbor and shows seeding, the crop plan, soil care, different compost systems, and household composting opportunities alongside its Community Supported Agriculture program. The program is supported by the New York City Council Community Composting Initiative and the A Greener NYC initiative.
