The film 'Honeycomb' is a screening of Carlos Saura's psychological drama from 1969. Married couple Teresa and Pedro, played by Geraldine Chaplin and Per Oscarsson, live in contentment in their chicly modern, minimalist home until a delivery of Teresa's family's furniture jostles something loose in her mind. Teresa then presses Pedro to join her in a series of 'games' carrying the casual sadism of childhood but very real adult consequences. Saura's first English-language feature is a harrowing vision of shifting power dynamics and mutually assured destruction played out in a conjugal hell.
