A curator conversation at the Paley Center for Media about Rod Serling, the writer, producer, and narrator of The Twilight Zone, who redefined what television could be and inspired almost every major TV and film creator working today. Renowned TV critic and New York Times best-selling author Alan Sepinwall discusses his new biography, Serling: A Journey Into The Twilight Zone with TV's First Visionary, with Paley curator Jason Lynch. The talk covers Serling's life and his hundreds of scripts for film and television, with highlights from the Paley Archive and rare interview footage of Serling. Attendees can purchase a copy of the book, which includes insights from figures like Steven Spielberg, J.J. Abrams, Vince Gilligan, Ben Stiller, and Guillermo del Toro.
