JC Hopkins Biggish Band is a 12-piece band led by J.C. Hopkins, a Grammy-nominated songwriter, producer and pianist. Over the years the band has featured important vocalists of modern music such as Elvis Costello, Norah Jones, Jon Hendricks, Andy Bey, Jazzmeia Horn and Madeleine Peyroux. The evening's lineup joins Hopkins on piano with vocalists, a saxophone and trumpet section, trombone, guitar, bass and drums. The New Yorker has called Hopkins' material swinging, tailor made for a vacuum tube radio.
