Memento Mori in NYC After Party: A Night to Celebrate Life is an evening that closes the two-day Memento Mori in NYC experience with a celebration of life. Japanese chef Daisuke Yamada, with over 25 years of experience in Japanese cuisine, has created an exclusive menu for the night, with Japanese food and drinks including Dassai BLUE, shochu, craft beer, and matcha. Koki Kimura, a professional nōkanshi (Japanese encoffinment ritual specialist), performs a special funeral ritual, and guests can also try the Coffin Experience. Speakers, performers, artists, and exhibitors from Memento Mori in NYC join the evening to reconnect, exchange ideas, and reflect on the past two days.
